What to Give the Bride

If the gift is for the bride herself rather than the household, yellow and green run through the whole evening, so flowers in those tones sit right with the rest of the night. A cake works too, though at a mehndi it competes with the dessert table, so it is better sent in the morning than brought at night.

Timing

Mehndi events start late and run later. Send the gift in the afternoon rather than the evening, because a rider arriving at 10 PM into a full house is nobody's favourite moment. Ready baskets go out the same day when ordered before 3 PM.
