How the Process Works
Ordering through Send My Gift from abroad is exactly the same as ordering from within Pakistan. You have two options.
The first is to order directly through the website. Browse the collections, pick what you want, add a message, enter the delivery address in Lahore or Gujranwala, and check out. Payment can be made via card.
The second, and often easier, option is WhatsApp. Message us at +923344434999 with what you want, the delivery address, your message for the card, and any customisation notes. We will confirm the order, send you the payment details, and handle everything else. Most overseas customers prefer this route because it is faster and they can ask questions in real time.
Payment Options for Overseas Customers
We accept card payments via the website. For WhatsApp orders, we can share bank transfer details or other methods depending on your location. We are flexible because we understand that international transfers can sometimes be complicated.
We do not require cash on delivery for overseas customers since you are not physically present to hand over cash. Card or transfer is the standard route.
Delivery Confirmation So You Know It Arrived
One of the biggest anxieties of sending a gift from abroad is not knowing whether it actually arrived. We send a delivery confirmation via WhatsApp once the gift has been handed over. This usually includes a note that it was delivered successfully. If you want a photo confirmation, ask us when you place the order and we will arrange it with the driver.
Same day delivery is available for orders placed before 4 PM Pakistan Standard Time. If you are in a different time zone, work backwards from PST to figure out your local cutoff. Midnight delivery requires the order to be placed by 9 PM PST.
What to Include in the Message
The message card is where your gift becomes personal. Since you are not there to present it yourself, the message carries more weight. Write it as if you are speaking directly to the person. Reference something specific, a shared memory, something you appreciate about them, or a simple but sincere expression of what this occasion means to you.
Every Send My Gift order includes a free printed message card. You send us the text and we print it. No character limit, but keep it to a paragraph or two for readability.
Most Common Occasions for Overseas Gifting
Based on our orders, the most common occasions when people send gifts from abroad are birthdays, Eid, anniversaries, weddings, new babies, and condolences. Each occasion has slightly different expectations for what is appropriate to send.
For birthdays and anniversaries, a gift hamper with personalised contents works well. For Eid, a premium hamper or chocolate and date box is traditional and appreciated.
